What is a podiatrist?

Podiatrists are healthcare professionals, specialising in the foot, ankle and leg. They are registered with the HCPC

What’s the difference between podiatry and chiropody?

Podiatry is the modern-day medical name for the pre-existing profession chiropody. The name was changed to podiatry in the UK in 1993, and is the internationally recognised name for a foot specialist.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

If this is your first visit, I will need a list of any medication that you are taking and details of your medical history.

What are the directions to Bovey Foot Care?

From Drum Bridges roundabout head northwest on Newton Road A382 towards Pottery Road. Continue to follow A382. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Newton Road A382 towards Bovey Tracey. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Station Road B3344, follow for approximately 0.4 of a mile. We are opposite Brookside restaurant.

Is there parking?

There is a large public car park on the opposite side, a little further up the road.
